- Smile at your orthodontist!
- Brush your teeth at least three times per day.
- Wear your rubber bands as directed by your orthodontist.
- Use your fluoride gel every night (or as directed by your orthodontist).
- Wear your headgear as directed by your orthodontist.
- Use your proxy (or interproximal) brush and floss daily.
- Purchase and use an electric toothbrush.
- Take Tylenol or Ibuprofen if your teeth are sore (but do not keep taking either for an extended period of time).
- Eat healthy snacks to reduce sugar intake.
- Tell your orthodontist how much you love your new smile when you are debonded!
